Indian Police Force | Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut promises an action-packed cop drama!

“The Indian Police Force” is an upcoming drama series slated to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Co-created and directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash, the series is set to debut its first episode on January 19, 2024. Consisting of a total of seven episodes, each spanning 45-50 minutes, the show boasts a stellar cast, headlined by Sidharth Malhotra portraying Kabir Malik. Supported by Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Isha Talwar, the series promises a compelling narrative.

The series was initially announced by Rohit Shetty in April 2022, marking his official digital directorial debut. The first look teaser, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, was unveiled on Amazon Prime Video during the same month. Filming for the series primarily took place in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, and Greater Noida. Principal photography commenced in mid-April 2022. The first shooting schedule began in Goa on May 12 and concluded in May 2022, just before Shetty departed for Cape Town to film Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.

Lead actor Sidharth Malhotra shared the series’ teaser on social media, expressing in his Instagram post, “Excited to bring to you my first action packed show, Indian Police Force. The teaser begins with explosions and blasts across various parts of Mumbai, accompanied by the ticking clock sound that unravels the suspense. Against the backdrop of impending danger, it introduces the valiant cops – Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty, initiating a pursuit to apprehend the mastermind behind the city’s bombings. As a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, the series pulls out all the stops and promises to be an exhilarating watch!
